Job DescriptionPay Range: $76,550-$95,700 per year
Purpose of Position:
As the HR Business Partner on the Corporate HR team, you will be a valued partner to the business by aligning business objectives with team member initiatives. You are an advocate and role model of the company values. You will serve as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and be a proactive problem solver. As a successful HRBP, you will be a team member champion and change agent. You will form collaborative partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and team members that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Consult with supervisors/management, provide HR guidance when appropriate. Work closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Manage and resolve complex team member relations issues. Conduct effective and objective investigations.
Assist in driving excellence into the HR organization by creating guidelines, processes and delivering training to the HR team.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
Coordinate or assist in social events, holiday celebrations and Community events.
Recruit exempt and non-exempt employees to ensure best candidates possible are selected.
Additional Functions:
Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.

QualificationsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
2+ years of Human Resources experience.
Knowledge of performance management, employee relations, safety practices, talent acquisition, talent management, and compensation strategy, with the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law
Change agent with excellent interpersonal skills
Active listener with solid written and verbal communication skills
Strategic thinker with proven ability to drive continuous improvement and results
Must demonstrate sound HR decision making
Must be able to coach team members and leaders up to director level
Proficient in Microsoft Office and demonstrated experience utilizing HRMS
Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
Must have a valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must have consistent and reliable attendance
Preferred Requirements:
4 years of Human Resources experience
Demonstrated project management skills
