Job DescriptionPay Range: $68,640 to $74,500 per year
- PURPOSE OF POSITION: to learn all aspects of fryer production operations to become able to supervise employees and all fryer ranch functions.
- “Hands-on” training in all aspects of fryer production.
- Controlling and maintaining bird health with aid of all available
- resources.
- Monitoring all ranch grow out functions.
- Insuring accurate coordination and/or completion of labor needs
- Becoming knowledgeable about personnel related activities (i.e., employee relations, labor laws, accident investigations, etc.)
- Learn to conduct employee orientations and/ or training.
- Strong Animal Science background (a Bachelor of Science Degree in Poultry/Animal Science, Ag-Business or related field preferred).
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must have strong leadership/supervisor skills with the ability to act independently and be able to evaluate fairly and objectively.
- Must be able to work flexible work schedules as needed to include weekends, holidays, late and early morning hours.
- Must have good computer skills and the ability to create and analyze data.
- Ability to interface with all support groups, departments and upper management.
- Must be able to work independently/ unsupervised and have strong time management skills.
- Must have a valid Class C Driver’s License and maintain a good DMV driving record.
- Must be able to follow and enforce all company policies and guidelines including bio-security and animal welfare policies and guidelines.
- Must be detailed oriented and have a strong mechanical, mathematical and analytical aptitude.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
