Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Will develop and implement digital and social strategy for the Foster Farms brand. Will be an important member of our company's marketing team and a key contributor of growth by elevating consumer engagement and experience across digital and social media channels.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Strategy Development: Develop digital and social strategy including defining channel priority, digital/social communication and content plan in support of brand, sales and shopper

Content Creation and Management: Lead the development, curation and deployment of content across platforms to accomplish audience reach, growth and engagement goals

Measurement and Optimization: Develop action plans for achieving, measuring and optimizing search, social, and digital campaigns to deliver strong ROI

Vendor Partnerships and Knowledge Base: Qualify and manage agency partners on ad hoc or ongoing projects. Stay on top of technology evolution and new emerging social/digital channels to leverage across campaigns

Qualifications

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications

Minimum of 5-8 years social media, campaign management, publishing, writing, content creation at a CPG or Agency

Must be proficient in Media selection, buying, monitoring and have experience using digital/social to build brands and engage with consumers

Confident in publishing copy and content to mass audience

Experience in website optimization and fluid content updates; search engine optimization (SEO) experience

Creative in mindset and brand-forward experience.

Experience using Agile testing to optimize creative, innovation, etc. Comfortable using digi/social as means of communicating and experimenting with consumers

Background in media buying on digital/social, and ability to determine optimal plan. Background in promotions-creative and flexible, and be able to create ideas to further brand, high level of creativity.

Understanding of editorial and content development processes, social and programmatic media is preferred, as well as an overall understanding of integrated marketing and the role digital plays

A passion for understanding the consumer mindset and keeping up with media and technology trends; exceptional customer insight skills and the ability to translate those insights into business ideas.

The ability to clearly articulate and present strategies, recommendations and results to team members and management

Strong management skills with proven ability to drive projects to successful completion, on time and within budget. Able to be a team player, willing and eager to work in a hands-on capacity.

Must have exceptional writing, communication/presentation and influence skills with strong project management

Strong sense of cultural relevance and how to connect brand with events

Team player, ability to work well with cross-functional teams

Preferred Requirements:

Comprehensive understanding of the digital ecosystem and how web, CRM, mobile, social, search and e-commerce channels work together to optimize behavior, acquisition and sales

Physical Requirements:

Must have consistent and reliable transportation

Must be able to work in fast paced environment.
