Job Description

Purpose:

The Shopper Marketing Program Coordinator assists in the development, delivery, and optimization of key shopper marketing programs and brand initiatives in support of Foster Farms base business and innovation launches

Essential Job Functions:

Shopper Marketing Program Execution: Support the Director of Shopper Marketing in managing all aspects of shopper marketing program execution including creative development process, vendor management, managing project timeline.

Communication: Responsible for sharing program details to the sales team, including ongoing updates and details in support of any customer meetings

Bookkeeping: Maintain a good record of shopper program spend against the set budget and invoice payment throughout the year

Measurement: Assist in gathering information for post-program performance analysis including monthly reporting tools, and program results reported by media partners.

Knowledge Base: Remain current on new and disruptive shopper and consumer engagement platforms, that can be leveraged in shopper marketing program development

General: Assist with tactical plans development of shopper marketing programs based on past knowledge of what has worked and what has not.

Simplify and standardize program management process for efficient execution

Qualifications

Requirements:

Minimum:

1-2 years’ experience or equivalent exposure

BA or BS in Advertising/Marketing or equivalent degree

Strong project management skills to ensure timely completion of projects and operational success

Highly detail oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving. Requires initiative and drive to create efficiencies.

Excellent interpersonal skills with internal teams and external vendors.

Working knowledge and real-world experience in executing marketing plans and programs (primarily in digital, social, shopper, and promotions)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs. Strong analytical ability and comfort with varied datasets to guide decision making.

Demonstrated analytical experience: Google Analytics, Nielsen or IRI syndicated data

Social Platforms Consumer Engagement Experience: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and YouTube

Consumer and marketplace awareness, with strong external orientation

Strategic, creative and critical thinking when executing business and marketing plans in an environment of ambiguity and limited financial resources, a flexible approach to solutions, ability to change course on short notice, find efficient ways to execute program and an overall optimistic "can do" attitude are important to be successful in this role.

Preferred:

Experience working with agencies with proven results across shopper marketing programs

Ability to develop strong negotiation skills as both a strategic advisor and direct negotiator for a broad variety of services

Ability to influence through leadership skills and a challenger mindset that leverage collaboration with key stakeholders to overcome the inherent complexity of the work.

Ability to analyze and assess content, creative work and provide effective feedback

Agility and resilience to overcome obstacles, react to changing marketplace conditions, and thrive in ambiguity.

Physical:

Ability to travel as needed

Have or the ability to obtain a valid CA Driver’s License with reliable transportation for business travel

Consistent and reliable attendance

Ability to work in a fast paced high pressure situations
