Foster Farms is seeking a passionate CPG marketer to join our fast paced team. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual with excellent organizational, project management skills to make an impact on our growing business.
Lead projects related to packaging and product changes & new product introductions; facilitate communication between Operations, Purchasing, R&D, Sales, USDA and external design agencies to ensure successful commercialization.
Gather data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions to assist in go to market strategies.
Collaborate on new product concepts and ideas.
Develop into lead demand forecasting, incorporating insights from Scan and Shipment data and knowledge of future events.
Evaluate product lines, market segments, and account performance leveraging syndicated POS data and relationships with category development and field sales.
Assist in development of annual marketing plans.
Maintain brand project schedules for all advertising, promotional, and merchandising activities, maintaining revisions as required.
Manage marketing budgets – provide regular reporting on actual and forecasted spend.
Provide pricing analysis and product forecasting.
Assist with market research projects
Travel on photo shoots, customer calls, association meetings, and trade shows.
Additional duties as assignedQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
1 to 3 years of successful professional experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Demonstrated analytical ability
1-2 years of experience in a marketing role at a food / cpg manufacturer, preferably in a related category
Familiarity with financial reporting, syndicated data and consumer research results
Experience managing commercialization projects
Experience managing creative development projects
Experience managing consumer promotion and communication budget
Demonstrated presentation skills with both large and small groups
Ability to travel
Ability to obtain/ has a valid CA Drivers License & obtain reliable transportation for business travel
Consistent and reliable attendance
Ability to work in fast paced, high pressure situations
Ability to lift 30 pounds
